Lewis Hooper
Throughout my career, I have worked on a wide range of ecological projects from household planning advice, large scale developments, National Infrastructure projects, public bodies and eNGOs. My intimate understanding of the region’s ecology, combined with my broad expertise in environmental legislation, and in-depth technical knowledeg, allows me to offer tailored solutions for conservation and habitat improvement.
I hold a Class 1 Bat Licence and a Great Crested Newt (GCN) Licence, and I am a specialist in both ornithology and Lepidoptera, which enables me to design and undertake a variety of protected species surveys and provide expert advice on avoidance, mitigation and enhancement measures.
My approach to ecology project management is solutions-driven and client-focused. I believe in clear and open communication, to ensure that their projects are both ecologically sound and legally compliant. By offering practical and sustainable solutions, I always aim to create win-win outcomes for both our clients and the wildlife we are working to protect.
When I am not working you might bump into me birdwatching on Hayling Island where I am based.
Feel free to get in touch to discuss how we can work together to support your projects to be successful and ensure a richer, more sustainable future for our wildlife.
